... Lalo Orna is worth your time to
get to know! I
personally endorse her line of unique pieces as every
piece is a wearable work of art. Oh my goodness, picking
up one of her beautiful keychains -- you just don't want to put
it down. In the words of one of my customers, who purchased the
Funky Green Bird Keychain, "I just got this and it's beautiful.
I almost hate to put keys on it. I want to make it into a brooch
or something!!! It's quite unique." And, those were
her exact words. I've heard similar remarks from my other
customers ... and my lucky mother has gotten her brooches.
When Lalo Orna first created her
pieces, she was thinking about the customer, wanting to create a
colorful creation that would put a smile on that customer's
face. Well, I can say she succeeded on that score. She
uses man-made materials to create "the illusion of a natural
organic material." She is a master at "the use of color, translucency, opacity,
and design" in that her pieces would make excellent suncatchers. Her creations make me smile
that even my husband LOVES them. Her
artistic jewelry and accessories are so beautiful and
imaginative, it is not easy to pick a favorite.
Lalo Orna is one of
Israel's most unique and imaginative artists. She's been
