A good career fit for me would be the role of a marketing specialist with skill strengths in writing, editing and online content.

I'd thrive on being able to have a creative consultative environment to brainstorm concepts with a creative team of my peers.  To be on a team of creative web builders and writers or on a team of creative marketing professionals would be a fit for me.

Writing and editing are two core loves of mine; along with creating unique and clever product fact sheets, product labeling, and newsletters.  Oh, and I hope to work my blogging and brand ambassadorship in there too.  That's just the tip of the iceberg of what can get my motor running in any given day.

I recently completed a nine-week contract position as a Marketing Product Support Analyst with a major insurance company located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Personally? Gosh, on Memorial Day 2012 I penned my first personals profile in over ten years! I was divorced on November 16, 2010 and waited a suitable period of time before venturing out there into the singles world. I am now seeking my own Mr. Right. I am confident that I will find my match out there in the wild blue yonder!

Over the past nearly 7 years, I have done a wealth of content writing through Seth Godin's Squidoo site. As a Squidoo lensmaster, I authored over 800 lenses on a wealth of topics including food and cooking, home and garden, health and medical, historical and genealogical. Oh, and so much more that I don't have enough space in this paragraph to spell it all out. In December 2012, I began deleting my Squidoo lenses. It seems that too many lensmasters opted to imitate my lenses and other top lenses to the point that it diluted our originality and uniqueness. That made me very sad to see such a huge lack of authenticity on the site.

In October 2004, I formed my own marketing company, Jaguar Julie Designs, which I operate today.  I have two websites for my online brand of Jaguar Julie: jaguarjuliedesigns.com and jaguarjulie.com.

From January 2007 through January 2011, I was the Marketing Director of a printing chemicals start-up company which "spun off" from FujiFilm Hunt. That company reached some $7.5 million in annualized sales during the course of my relationship with them. Previously, for 4.5 years, I was the Marketing Manager for FujiFilm Hunt in Orange Park, Florida.

In my spare time I like to ... Computers seem to be a big part of my life both personally and professionally. When I can tear myself away from them, I love to travel, especially in Europe. I've even contemplated moving there! I also enjoy deep sea fishing and cultural activities such as art museums and plays. Oh, and I know how to maintain a great looking yard and garden.

Social media ... Yes, I understand the intricacies of social media and how you can harness the power for yourself and for your brand.  I've been on the internet since the early 1990s!

  • A second blog I operate is my Squidoo dedicated Topicability blog : "To be topicable :: that which is relevant, of current interest, contemporary, spot-on!"
     
• Google+ ... In April 2012, I finally opted to set up my profile on Google+.  I'd been seeing that G+ button on the side of my Squidoo lenses and thought it was about time to figure out what it meant to click on that button.
   
• Facebook ... I have a presence on Facebook that is not to be confused with the other person using JaguarJulie for their Facebook page.  Somehow, that person snagged my branded name to use for their Facebook page.  But, not to worry.  To find me, you know what I look like; yes I am a blonde.  I am TheJaguarJulie on Facebook.
   
• MySpace ... OK, I honestly never got the hang of MySpace.  I tried, honestly I did.  But it escaped me.  Oh, and would you believe that same person nabbed my branded name to use for their MySpace page?  Hey, what's going on with that anywho.  I need to charge them for all the free publicity, right?  So, again, you know what I look like; yes I am blonde.  And, I am TheJaguarJulie on MySpace.

Zazzle Store ... I opened a store for Shirts With a Bit of An Attitude to complement my Squidoo lenses.  The store blossomed into quite a variety of Attitude Shirts!  I've done a Squidoo lens on my Zazzle Store to showcase the development of the various attitudes.  Hey Monkeybrain!
